:!:  Man does this look like a cool movie. It comes out on July 3rd and is a MUST SEE for any 80's kid. I'd love to discuss it with y'all.

I'm not an 80s kid - and never saw Transformers on TV or owned a toy.
BUT that doesn't mean this doesn't look cool as heck to me too. :)

Yeah, the ads I've seen look amazing. I was more into G.I. Joe than Transformers as a kid (although I had a few), but this has definitely piqued my interest.

I see also that Shia LeBoeuf, who's starring, is also going to be in the next Indiana Jones movie (which I'm also looking forward to).

I graduated from HS in the early 80's ( yeah I'm that old) so I didn't do the toys but I remember the comic and the cartoon. Michael Bay rarely disappoints and the CGI looks great so I will check this one out but definitely not opening weekend. I will let the new generation and the 80's kids have their party before I go.

Cheers,
Jeff

Yeah, me too. I waited a couple of weeks to see Pirates of the Carribbean to let the crowds die down. Movies are always better with a little elbow room.

On another note, some people may not like that the Transformers don't look the same as the 80's originals, but I think they look incredible. I hope they put out plastic or resin models of them. I'd definitely snap them up.

 It has sold millions of tickets and is the biggest movie of the summer already :!: Y'all should brave the crowds and see it. Weeknights are less busy than weekends, if you can spare the time.

There is an interesting interveiw with Screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman on Wizard Universe.com, where they talk about a possible sequel, Dinobots & Arcee...

I didn't even know there was a Transformers game coming out. I'll have to check that out, too.

OMG I LOVE THIS MOVIE! I haven't been able to see the special features yet either, but I'm interested to see how they did the special effects. I read somewhere that it took them 13 months just to get bumblebee to transform

I just watched it too.
Awesome flick. FULL of action and very little filler.

Loved it!

Totally worth it. Action is truly in a larger scale than we have seen before.
