I'm a huge fan of Golden Age Comics and ofcourse their art but I find it troubling to find fellow fans a lot of the time.
If anyone else is a fan please let me know.
I visit the site all the time but rarely find any golden age art on it.
I encourage others to post up if they have any!

It's mainly because we are a site that is not really comic scans. More promo images and sketches than comic scans.
There haven't been any promo images for Golden Age comics that have been sent to us by publishers so we haven't added any.

My particular taste include anything by JACK DAVIS in the EC era. He's just amazing to me.

Ahh so much is left unloved though.
I'm surprised there's been no promo images with the countless hardcover reprints they seem to make!

If you can dig any up, we'd love to have them. Just register (registration is separate) go to the artist's category or the first letter of the artist's last name and click UPLOAD and follow the instructions.
Any uploads would be appreciated as long as they are official promo images, not scans from comic covers.

I'm by no means a Golden Age expert, but I've always liked Matt Baker's art. He seemed ahead of his time in a lot of ways.

Awesome choice.
I love that kind of stuff but I still think it's a too bad people don't conform to a unifying style.
Everything back then had a very 40s style to it but those days are now lost.
Nowadays if an artist changes books (which always happens) it no longer feels like the comic I once loved...and I have to debate on if I want to make the jump...

There's a new Omnibus coming out of Marvel's Golden Age! Anyone else getting it?
