What are your thoughts on Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
I always thought it was great because the art was always changing, I'd see a lot of different young Dark Horse artists either rise past it or barely even touch the limelight from what I've read.
I also thought the whole idea of trying to capture such well known likenesses was really keen, cool to see how different artists approach it.

I really like Jo Chen's covers, too. Very realistic, and she does a great job capturing the look of all the characters. I had a chance to meet her and get her artbook at the (sadly no longer running) DC Comicon last year.

Yeah, that can be tough to get a good likeness and still have it fit in with the rest of your art. Someone who does a very good job at that is J. Scott Campbell (in fact I think he has some Buffy caricatures in the gallery, but I may be mistaken).

Did you ever see the Star Trek/X-Men crossover comic (it came out quite a few years ago)? I forget the name of the artist, but he did a very good job of capturing the likenesses of the Star Trek cast while still keeping them in the same style to the X-Men characters.

Yeah those covers are awesome, the only cover art I actually understand, usually cover art bugs me to no end.

Yeah he does, they'great!
A lot of top artists seem to like to try their hand at Buffy actually...

Yeah I think I saw it from the artist on deviantART, amazing stuff!
