This season will offer many new shows. Fox has FRINGE ** "The X-Files" helped establish Fox, and while the network isn't exactly suffering nowadays with its "American Idol" juggernaut, there's a sense of paying homage to its fictional routes with "Fringe." The show, fourth in online interest, pairs a female FBI agent with a nutcase scientist and his 'estranged' son. Producer J.J. Abrams ("Lost," "Cloverfield") isn't just the mastermind behind the dramatized investigations into 'fringe science,' but also behind one of the most expensive pilots ever at $10 mil plus. A comic book prequel debuts first to warm up the fanboys, but many already suspect this will be the break-out hit of the fall. What do y'all think about this show?

Let the march to 1000 posts begin!!!

I saw it and liked it!
It's a little *long* but good nonetheless.
VERY similar in style and transitions to LOST though - but that's not a bad thing IMHO.

Two thumbs up!

Is it a mystery with clues slowly being revealed or just full of twists and turns? I just don't want to be disappointed when I see it because Cloverfield was freakin' horrible.

Not a ton of twists really. Just some *unbelievable* things that are easy to enjoy if you just go with it (harder to enjoy if you say nah... that would *never* happen).

It was good, it had an X-Files meets Alias kind of feel to it. Intrigue and macbre seems to be a good pairing.

Sunday nights probably.
They replayed the pilot episode last night.

Or watch it online here:

Well if you see it Ms. Mermaid, I'd love to here what you think about it. I'm still iffy myself.

I like the show. I like the show so much that I have watched the 1st two episodes online on Fox on Demand where they put in irritating  commercials every so often. This usually, in turn messes up the stream so you have to remember where you were (e.g. 20:05) and move the show back to that point after refreshing the screen.

I do like it though. It is an interesting show, that like Sara Conner, is a lot better than most of the crap on T.V. now.

I missed two weeks and felt like I missed out on the middle of the story now. :/
Keep watching and let me know at the end of the season. I'd love to rent it on DVD and watch the whole thing at once if it stands the test of time.
