Looks like you have a bit of robert crumbs drawing style.

Personally Im not a big fan of beyond the grave stuff but there is plenty of people who are.

Good stuff.

Need to see more to say more though.

'O and how long did it take you to do all 16 pages if you don't mind me asking?

The pencils, inks, scanning and coloring took about 4 months but now that I have the hang of it, should be quicker. But all together with doing the story board and character script it took about 6months. My style has slightly changed. I have noticed that the second issue is much cleaner.

Thanks for the replies you guys I appreciate it.

You know that is pretty great.

I've tried inking before and it just comes out badly. I can color a bit in photoshop now and pencil well enough but it would still take me a lot longer than that Im thinking.

Not to mention getting over the am I good enough to do this syndrom again. And again. As I trudge along.

Im such a ninny like that at times.

Heh

I use photoshop for more than just the coloring. Under the layer options choose >new adjustment layer>threshold when working on your inks. This is a very handy tool for cleaning up you inks. What it does is converts the document to 100% black and 100% white and you can change the thickness of your inked lines. It makes a big difference. As for the syndrom, you have to stay focused. I had the same problem. Try the threshold tool on your inked drawing and when you get the desired line thickness flatten the image. Hopefully it helps!
