 You make friends, you meet people and they get involved in this crazy thing called life. This happens in comics and in life. Whatever happened to Peter and Mary Jane's baby? Where is Kane? Where has Jason Todd been? Or of more importance to our subject, I'd like to say that I miss some of y'all and haven't seen you on line in a long time. I hope that you are doing well and will come back.

Among those to which I am referring are: Aeslec, DSG, Eltee, Colonel, Bitplayer, Primal, Eonprez and my all time favorite CAC person: heartofglitter.

I hope life is treating you well my friends and that I will hear from you again.

It's always good to hear from CAC members who haven't posted in awhile(unlike Peter and MJ's baby and Kane, who I have the sneaking suspicion that Marvel's hoping we'll all forget).

Well...Peter & MJ's baby is currently starring as the future Spider-Girl in her own title. I have a feeling when that comic is done & over with for quite some time they'll decide to bring back that storyline.

I'm always around. Nothing much I feel like commenting on in the forums though.

:? Dude, I thought I was putting up some cool topics to discuss. Even if I wasn't I thought that J&S Harrington or somebody else might have something you'd be interested in. Why don't you start a topic and I'll comment on it, if it fits in my areas of interest. Until then, I hope I hit on something you feel like discussing.

Thanks for the concern Zenos! I haven't been around much, certainly lurking more than posting. My wife was sick for awhile and finally had to have part of her large intestine removed. She is doing great now and I think when the recovery is complete she will be as good as new. Anyway, I haven't had much time for typing! LOL

:D Glad everything worked out alright, Colonel. I understand that your wife's health must come far before this. May the Lord be with you.

Colonel, really sorry to hear about what happened to your wife. I'm glad to hear that she's doing better, and we'll be praying for her to continue a speedy recovery.

Congrats Aeslec! You're going to enjoy being an uncle. Make sure you introduce him to comics!

Congrats Uncle Aeslec! Remember it is the duty of every Uncle to always have a dollar in your pocket for your nephew, to teach your nephew what happens when his Uncle says, "pull my finger", and to take him to movies that your sister won't let him go to!

Eonprez is not ever coming back, his wife will not let him <long>. The rest of you guys have been back except Eltee. Aeslec became an uncle and the Colonel has been through a lot. Primal and DSG show up every now and then and heartofglitter is proving that she's a hero. Glad to see all of y'all back.

I'm sorry I haven't been on much guys; but yes, that thing called life steals away much of my internet time.
It's three weeks until I'm back at University and two weeks until our local Anime Convention which I am Convenor of. (Not a responsibility I wanted... :/ ) I've also been taking classes here and there teaching little brats how to draw for some extra cash.
My partner's started full-time work too and he's web monkey and tech support for the Convention so when he's not working I like to monopolise his time. :D

All of this work of course brings me to my New Year's resolution, which was, learning to say 'no' to people. (It's not something I can do, if someone asks me to do something, whether I want to do it or not I say yes.) Just last night I got landed the task of having 5 murals painted by the end of the week... Not even I remember how I agreed to that... Must have been sleep deprivation! So yes, I must learn to say no.

I promise to try and make more of an effort to post here, it's just hard sometimes.

We understand :) I'm a person who can't say no either. But after agreeing to babysit my brothers 10 kids....that changed. I still have nightmares about it!!!! *wraps up in fetal position*

It's said that that which doesn't kill you makes you strong. At this rate you'll be superhuman in no time. Maybe you'll get your own comic book. (Hopefully any diaper-changing scenes will be omitted for those of us with weak stomachs.)

I haven't seen Soldier1941 in some time. I wonder what happened to him. He always posts great stuff about his commissions.

I talked to Jeff (Soldier1941) today. He said he had a busy couple of months and hasn't been doing much in the art field.
He *did* renew his advertisement at the Comic Art Links Directory at dragonberry.com and said he would be back in the swing soon.

Has anybody heard from Aeslec recently? It's been a couple of months since his last post. We'd love to hear from him again.

Ironically, I was thinking about posting the exact same thing. Great minds, huh?

Seriously though, I miss them too. They're probably just busy, but hopefully they will touch base just to let us know they're okay.

Congratulations on you're 1000th post! Now, in order to catch up with you, I'll have to churn out hordes of rambling, incoherent posts that make no intelligent contribution to the threads they are posted on.

Oh wait, I just remembered that I do that already.
Nevermind.

Not sure, although the VC forum went under, and the whole site may be down as well.
