A friend recently turned me on to this show. I thought that there was nothing good on T.V. anymore but I was wrong. My friend kept talking about how much she liked HEROES and that she couldn't believe that I didn't watch it. She has season 1 on DVD and she let me borrow it...and now I LOVE this show!!! In just 5 days I've watched all of season 1 and the 5 episodes available online. I can't get enough.

Do y'all watch it? What do you think about it? Who's your fav character??
I hope this turns into a get topic for us to talk about.

I'm afraid I haven't kept track of Heroes, although according to T.V.Guide, I appear to be in the minority. Speaking of T.V.Guide, this week's issue has four different covers each one featuring the cast of Heroes drawn by a notable comic book artist (Jim Lee, Phil Jimenez, Micheal Turner and Tim Sale)!

I'll try to keep up on it. If not on T.V., then online.

Did you see the other Jim Lee Heroes picture (http://www.comicartcommunity.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=26520)?

I think there's going to be a Heroes comic book series soon, although I don't know any details. I doubt Jim Lee will actually be drawing it, unfortunately.

I wish someone would find and upload the color version, should it become available. J&S, your new avatar reminds me of the old man from Ninja Scroll-cool 8)

All of which are better than the Jim Lee cover IMHO.
Lee's looks so rushed!

I hate to say it, but I agree with you, Terry. It does look half-way done. I expected better of Jim.

Yes, his cover was horrible... saw it up close at the hair cuttery. lol Horrible work for him. I've actually seen rushed sketch jobs that look better from him.

I think that Phil Jimenez's cover is the best of the 4. That is, unless you count the Jim Lee Wrap Around Cover (IF it was colored!).

 This show is awesome!! Sylar is a devilishly delicious villian. Peter is a powerful but unsure hero, Hiro is a dedicated son and friend, Claire is just awesome,...every character is well written and the story is very involving. If you're not watching this, you're missing the best show on T.V. IMHO.

Definitely one of the best. I think the season started off a little slow, but quickly turned into some classic storytelling. Loved the last few episodes, that's for sure.

Last night's finale was great!! Too bad it looks like Nathan is dead for sure and maybe Nicki is too. But...we didn't actually see her die on screen. It is possible that she is somehow still alive. Sylar is back!! It's only a matter of time before he takes out some more "special" people.

BTW, for those of you who don't know, all the paintings of the future that the Heroes try to stop from happening are by Tim Sale.

That's what happens when you have a writers strike and a possible actors' strike coming up in June.

The Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) is the actor's union. They are due up in June to renew their demands and all from the powers that be in Hollywood. This is just like what happens in Pro Sports. The people (studios) who contol the money have to negotiate with the people(actors) that make people spend their money to see what it is that we watch.

I can't stand Hollywood or professional sports for these reasons... They're such money grubbing greed mongers. What, $100k per episode isn't good enough? *whine*cry*moan*squirm* Oh, royalties from your re-runs and DVD sales aren't high enough? *b*tch*complain*whimper*curl* Not making as much as your fellow actors?

Seriously? Give me a break. Get over it and give me a gun so I can end it.

Well that's weird. Why would they expect people to get up so early to watch it? :? It comes on 9 o'clock here.

Also, I just read something that says Heroes will be back in September THIS year! :o
