There are also some upcoming print ads in DRAW and Comic Book Artist that I set up a couple of months ago.

Those ads will be for the Comic Art Links Directory and Big Scanner.com specifically, but because of the huge top of the front page link to the Comic Art Community from dragonberry.com, I hope we'll get a lot of "drop-over" hits as well.

Comic Art Community will have a 1/4 page ad with dragonberry.com in the new Comic Book Artist Volume 2 - #1 as well.

I expect an ongoing relationship with Jon and his suite of publications.

An agressive campaign has started to tie us in with Comic Book Conventions.
Look for our flyers when you go to a comic con.
AND - keep your eye out for special promotional premiums to be given away by those cons as well.
(more news on that when the deals are solid).

I've been talking to this guy I know about getting something unique to give out that's low cost too.
So far, things he's shown me have been kind of *blah*.

Any suggestions?

Maybe a mousepad?

Terry

Hmmmm..... well I'd think it would be best if it was semi collectible... maybe talk to some "hot" artist.. when you get a con sketch. Ask them to do somethign specifically for the website and make sure it's ok to reproduce it. Then put that image on the Mousepad (or whatever) with the CAC stamp of approval.

Here's another idea I had while reading an article on Iraq's MOST WANTED deck of cards...

What about a CAC deck of cards original art reproduced on each card.
Wow - that would be nice, eh?

Of course coordinating the whole thing would be a nightmare, but not beyond approach.

Hmm...
