Perhaps you will notice that Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Bane have been cast.

Thankfully it's not Cher (just the thought gives me the shivers, lol)

Don't worry about that. Cher is slated to play the mother superior in the upcoming Three Stooges remake.

And no, sadly, I'm not joking.

There was a new trailer that went with the latest Harry Potter film. It looked cool but didn't let you in on much.

Nice. Release date is 20 July 2012. Can't wait!! :D Atleast they should make a good trailer for the fans sometime soon. :/

I wish they would have went with more of the current comic book look instead of what they have.

I agree. This costume is a little more reminiscent of the Adam West era Cat Woman.

This is supposed to be the last time that Christian Bale will be Batman and the last Batman movie that Christopher Nolan will make. I hope that doesn't mean that the writers have done something stupid like the crap that happened in Spider-Man 3...

Spider-Man 3 was the fault of Sony, Raimi only wanted to use the Sandman... Sony made Raimi put Venom in it...

I can honestly say I'm looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises more than the Man of Steel... I have yey to see, or hear anything that makes me excited about it...

If this is going to be the last film with Bale/Nolan, I suspect that any Batman movie following it will likely reboot the series(which would probably be a good idea).

Um, maybe we could send a strongly worded letter to his agent?

Keep seeing new trailers...I feel a little less worried that Batman is about to be screwed up.

Will this be the biggest selling Batman yet?
It seems like with each release another box office record is broken.

That's an interesting question.
I can see it a couple of ways:

#1: The last film had the added hype of Heath Ledger as the Joker(which was already creating a lot of buzz) and the fact that it was one of his last roles, which I think played a part in boosting sales. "The Dark Knight Rises" doesn't have any factors like that, which would suggest that while the film will likely perform very well, it probably won't be setting any new records.

#2: Bale and Nolan have confirmed that this is the last movie in the series for them(any further sequels will probably begin with a reboot like Spider-Man) and will most likely wrap up any dangling plotlines. Fans of the previous installments will likely want to see this one as well. Add Cat Woman to the mix, and it could well be on its way to a new boxoffice record.

I'm not sure which way it will break, but I suspect "Dark Knight" should do well in either case.

Just watched it. Pretty good film and very much on par with the first of nolans batmans. Which means- imo- that it is better than all the other batman films out there other than whats in this series.

Have to say despite banes awesomeness the second in the series is the top dog still.

Catwoman was super cool too.
