This sound like a disasterpiece in the making...

Quote:
The series pilot is a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman – a/k/a Diana Prince – is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. Kelley and Bill D’Elia (“Boston Legal,” “The Practice”) are the executive producers. The pilot was written by Kelley and will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner (NBC’s “The Event”). “Wonder Woman” is from David E Kelley Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

Ouch.

I would suggest standing clear so you don't get hit by any flying debris when it crashes and burns.

Wow, that DOES take me back. I remember checking it out as a kid to see what all the hype was about. They lost me at the scene where the fat bearded man with a suitcase full of glowing money was doing a song and dance number about bribing public officials.

Did someone see that and say,"If you lose the suitcase and replace the fat guy with Diana Prince you would really be on to something."?

And NBC wonders why it's ratings are so bad...

Lynda Carter has conidence in it... Even though she is one of the few people that does... Drastic changes rarely if ever work... Birds Of Prey should have taught people that...

Quote:
“I think it is an amazing role to play,” Lynda Carter, who portrayed the character from 1975 to 1979, tells The Baltimore Sun. “I know she is going to be really nervous about it, just because you would be. But I have a lot of confidence in [writer] David Kelley and what he’s going to come up with. David Kelley’s so talented, and that’s really where it needs to be, is in the writing'"
