I like the idea of this, and it could be good for both Marvel and DC... In fact I think with the presence of Facebook and Twitter, the fan participation would be incredible...

Batman vs Moon Knight
Wonder Woman vs Ms Marvel
Green Lantern vs Nova
Zatanna vs Scarlet Witch
Huntress vs Mockingbird

Or in a villians battle, Dr. Doom versus a Superman fighting suit equipped Lex Luthor?

Both of you have some very cool crossover ideas(the jim's Zatanna/Scarlet Witch and zenos' Dr. Doom/Lex Luthor are probably my favorites).

Here are a few ideas of mine:

Superman vs Red Hulk
Green Lantern vs Iron Man
Daredevil vs Cat Woman
Daredevil vs The Joker or The Riddler(or just about any other member of Batman's rouges gallery would be pretty cool)

I'll probably think of a horde of better matchups about 2 seconds after I hit the "submit" button, but there ya go.

I'm going with IGN ratings here...Ultron is ranked #23 in greatest villians of all time and Metallo is ranked #52.

In my opinion, based on the above....the winner is....

I was going to vote for Ultron also. Metallo's main strength is his Kyrptonite heart which wouldn't have much effect on Ultron. Otherwise, their powers are pretty similar.

I'll go with Iron Man because I think his armor would have an answer for anything Rayner could do.

The fact that I am a long time Iron Man fan(long before it was cool) is purely coincidental.

I'll go with Galactus over Darkseid... After all it toook quite a few Marvel Heroes to bring down Galactus, and that group had Thor in it...

If it's just the Avengers in the picture, I'll pick the Avengers... I thinks Scarlet Witch's chaos magic would to a factor in the victory...

I'll go with Galactus if for no other reason than the size advantage. If worse came to worse he could just step on Darkseid.

I'll also pick the Avengers because they(as usual) have about 100 more team members than they need, and therefore would win by sheer numbers.

I think I'll go with Power Girl, too. Adam Hughes has drawn covers for Power Girl but not for Ms. Marvel, which I think is significant.
