Influenced by industry greats Michael Golden and Bill Sienkiewicz, Canadian-born and Southern California-raised Chris Bachalo has made a name for himself as, among other things, 'the definitive Death artist'. His first professional work was on Sandman #12 (DC) and from there he worked on another DC title, Shade: The Changing Man. But Chris put his stamp on the industry when he combined with writer Neil Gaiman to create the highly acclaimed Vertigo mini- series Death: The High Cost of Living. It was this series in which Chris was deemed 'the definitive Death artist'. He has also lent his pencils to such titles as Uncanny X-Men and Generation X (both Marvel) as well as his creator-owned Cliffhanger series entitled Steampunk. Educated at Cal State Long Beach College, Chris still resides in Southern California with his wife Helen.
Represented by MothComiX
http://www.mothcomix.com/
*Thanks to Chris for allowing us to build this gallery of his art!
