| Description: | Greg Horn has amazed many with his photo-realistic renderings that can be found EVERYWHERE: comics, magazine covers, video game box covers, print ads...who knows where we'll see his work next! He does his painting with a computer, so his "originals" are rather difficult to get ahold of, but before he paints and finishes his pieces, he draws out penciled line work to scan as the base for his art. This piece was a potential cover for his super run on the Marvel Knights Elektra series, but (for some reason unbeknownst to me) it did not grace a comic cover. Please note that all of the Horn pencil prelims I have ever seen are super-light, as they are not meant as finished pieces. They really do not scan well, so I have adjusted the contrast on this picture, so the detail is visible in electronic form. |
